  • What if the sun's not shining?

The station works day or night. Replaceable, high-capacity batteries store power collected when the sun's out – about three hours should do it – so it keeps charging when it's dark out. Even overcast days provide enough power to charge the station. And, worst case scenario, it can tie into your grid power through any wall outlet.

  • How long does it take to charge?

The station charges devices as fast as a wall outlet.

  • How many phones can it charge at a time?

Six – two per charging table, configured however you like.

  • Is this thing downloading my selfies?

No, the cables only carry power – not data.

  • Can it fall over?

It's not impossible, but it's not very likely. At 700 lbs. and with a stable base, the station has a 90 mph wind rating. And no one has ever reported one falling over.

  • Can the station be installed permanently?

Definitely. Hardware and instructions can be provided to bolt it into the ground.

  • How long does the station's battery last?

From one to three years. While sunlight will charge them daily, if the station is covered up for extended periods of time, the batteries need to be charged every three months.

  • Let's be honest; what issues am I going to face?

This is an outdoor unit, and while components are made to survive weather conditions, there are limits. The cords will need to be replaced from time to time, and we include several sets in every purchase. After that, the nickel-plated replacements are available through us. Also, the battery is designed to be changed after one to three years. And the custom signage will need to change as your brand grows. You'll also have to deal with a lot more people being interested in who you are and what you're about, but that's a problem worth having.
